Baby Poop
I was getting ready for work this morning while Ella was playing with her babies. She kept saying "Baby poop. Pee you (sp??) mommy, that's ucky." And she kept saying it while she was getting a diaper to change her baby. I asked her Ella did your baby poop? "Ya" Are you sure it wasn't Ella that pooped? Ya...sure enough it was Ella that pooped and she tried to blame it in her baby. I think its time to get on the pot!

Ella BITES
So, today Ella got in trouble at daycare for biting another kid. This isn't the first time. She has bitten three kids at school now. The thing that gets me is I get an accident report when she bites someone elses kid but when she comes home from daycare with teeth marks and a big bruise I don't get an accident report! Plus, they keep putting someone elses diaper on her. I like this daycare but I'm getting annoyed at this crap.
Does anyone have any tips to help me get Ella to stop biting? I've tried tapping her mouth and saying no but she just laughs. Time outs are a joke too. She tells me "no bite time out" and laughs. However she will tell me sorry after she bites me and kisses my owie which is cute but she's not getting the point to not do it in the first place. I need advice!

Not too much new has gone on in the past couple of days. We spent the weekend in Chicago visiting my friend from hair school and Ella met a boy. My friend Jason from school fell in love with her and they were buddies all day long on Saturday. He carried her purse (my diaper bag for her) around because it was too heavy. They blew bubbles outside and swapped shoes for a while although they didn't fit too well. She even made herself at home on his lap. She's really not shy at all. She knew his name too! I'm going to have to watch her or she's going to have too many boyfriends! Saturday night mom was up in Chicago too so I dropped Ella off at her hotel and she watched her all night so I could go out for a little while with some of my friends. It was an ok night, nothing too exciting because we were in the suburbs. Sunday and Monday we hung out in Elmhurst at my friend Michelle's. It was a good weekend. Tuesday it was time to go back to work and Ella had to go back to daycare and she wasn't too happy about it. We are having some seperation anxiety issues...its going to be a fun terrible two's!!

Sickness
Ella has a stomach bug and eczema all over. The stomach bug is causing the fever and most likely her eczema is being triggered by allergens in the air. She had a 101.6 fever today so that isn't getting any better. She won't be able to go to day care tomorrow either, so that means I can't go to work. There is nothing worse than being sick in the summer. Poor baby :(

Sick....again
Ella has a mysterious rash and spiked a fever today. We go to the doctor tomorrow to determine what it is and why its there. I too have a rash, coincidently on the same elbow as Ella, but it is clearing up. Hopefully its nothing serious because she has been vaccinated. I'll give the update tomorrow.

Ella and Mommy
Well, this morning Ella woke me up at 6:30 AM. This is a little earlier than usual so I got up and put her in bed with me for hopefully one more hour of sleep. 7:30 AM, I get a smack on my head and we are up and off to get breakfast in the kitchen. Now, Ella is not a very good eater but she never misses breakfast. We made mini waffles and she ate about half of every waffle. Today we had some errands to run so we got ready around 11 and went to the bank, the mall and Wal-mart. She was a pretty good girl at the mall. I bought her two new pairs of shoes because her feet are growing so fast. She made sure to say "thank you" after we bought something. It was pretty cute. We then went to look at the kitties and puppies at Love at First Site and she squealed the whole time. She just loves animals! By the time we made it to Wal-mart she was getting pretty hungry and kinda cranky and she had taken her shoes off in the car so I didn't bother putting them back on her, so I'm sure we fit in really well. After throwing a huge fit when I was trying to order some luch meat we quickly went to find string cheese so I could give her one to tie her over until we got home. This worked for about 3 whole minutes and then she was inconsolable. She dropped half of her eaten string cheese and she couldn't stop crying to chew the part that was in her mouth. I had to hide the dropped part and open a new one so she could see that she still had a string cheese and there was nothing to cry about. When she caught on to that everything was fine once again. I had about half of my groceries by then so I thought I better make this quick while she is content. From that point on every person, no matter where they were in the aisle, Ella would say hi to, even if we were the only ones in the aisle and they were just passing by. I sorta wish she was a bit more shy. When we were checking out she helped me put the groceries on the conveyer belt and then we came home and had lunch. Ella took a nap and I cleaned up lunch and filled her pool up so by the time she woke up the water wouldn't be freezing. Around 4 I woke her up and we got our swimsuits on and headed outside for some sun. Ella let me paint her toe nails and she played in her pool while I blew bubbles and painted my toe nails to match hers. While putting the pool up I accidently tore it so it looks like we will be getting a new one maybe like Addison's since she loved it so much! Around 5 we came inside and took off her wet suit and she had a tan line even with SPF 50 on! I then tried to get her to go on the potty. She has gone pee twice now but today we had no luck. We'll keep trying though. That was our day. They are usually always this exciting! Hahah. We'll keep you posted though on any funny/gross things that happen. There is usually something!
